Terms of Service for StreamSync

Welcome to StreamSync! By accessing or using StreamSync, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. These Terms of Service (the "Agreement") govern your use of the StreamSync platform, application, and services provided by OneStarLive LLC ("we," "us," or "our").

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using StreamSync, you agree to these Terms of Service, including any updates or modifications. If you do not agree to these terms, please refrain from using StreamSync.

2. StreamSync Overview

StreamSync allows broadcasters to curate their favorite Twitch content and feature it on their profile. Viewers can contribute Bits to power these events and opt-in for text alerts to be notified when the broadcaster goes live with the event. Viewers may also provide their phone numbers to receive event reminders and confirmations. Once the Bits goal is met, the broadcaster can schedule and integrate the event into their Twitch calendar.

3. Payment and Bits Transactions

  • StreamSync facilitates Bits contributions from viewers, but all Bits transactions are processed through Twitch. There are no refunds for any Bits transactions once they are completed.

  • By contributing Bits, viewers agree to Twitch’s terms and conditions regarding Bits usage and refunds.

4. User Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.

  • You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating an account and using StreamSync services.

  • You must use StreamSync in compliance with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations.

5. No Obligation for Broadcasters to Stream

  • Broadcasters using StreamSync are not obligated to stream the content they feature on their profile or schedule. StreamSync is solely a platform that facilitates scheduling once the Bits goal is met. If a broadcaster fails to stream the content, it is at their discretion, and no liability is incurred by OneStarLive LLC or StreamSync.

6. No Responsibility for Livestream Incidents

  • StreamSync is a booking platform designed to facilitate seamless scheduling when a Bits goal is met. We do not take responsibility for any incidents that may occur during the livestream.

  • StreamSync does not promote, endorse, or advocate for any suspicious activity, harmful behavior, or wrongdoings during any stream scheduled through the platform.

  • StreamSync also does not take responsibility for bullying, harassment, or any other issues that may arise during the stream. Any such incidents are the responsibility of the broadcaster and viewers involved.

7. Data Usage and Privacy

  • By using StreamSync, you consent to our collection, use, and processing of personal data as outlined in our Privacy Policy.

  • We collect data such as event details, broadcaster information, and user interactions with the platform. This data may be used for improving services, sending reminders and notifications, and providing a better user experience.

8. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Violate any laws or regulations while using StreamSync.

  • Engage in any activity that interferes with or disrupts the StreamSync platform or services.

  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of StreamSync.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to StreamSync if we determine, at our sole discretion, that you have violated these Terms of Service or engaged in any harmful conduct.

10. Limitation of Liability

StreamSync is provided "as is," and we make no warranties or representations regarding its availability, functionality, or suitability for your use. We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of StreamSync.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold OneStarLive LLC harmless from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from your use of StreamSync, including any breach of this Agreement.

12. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

13. Modifications

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. By continuing to use StreamSync after such changes, you agree to the revised terms.
